The Akdal Ghost TR-1 9mm Black is a short recoil operated, locked-breech pistol. It utilizes a modified Browning-type locking, with a single lug entering the ejection window, and a cam-shaped projection controlling the unlocking and locking. Its pre-cocked striker is put to full cock by the pull of the trigger. Automatic trigger and firing pin safeties provide added security, while the double stack magazines increase capacity.
